Together, we can build a future where no one is left behind.

About Us

Hi, we’re Frank and Tina, a husband-and-wife team with a heart for helping others. Originally from California, we made Des Moines, Iowa our home in 2010. Since then, our lives have been driven by one purpose: to serve people in need—whether they're facing food insecurity, addiction, or just going through a tough season of life.

Both of us have walked through our own struggles in the past. That journey gave us a deep understanding of what it means to feel lost, to feel hungry—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And it’s also what fuels our compassion and commitment today. Whether it’s offering a warm meal, a listening ear, or helping someone take the first step toward recovery, our goal is simple: to love people well and remind them they’re not alone. We know what it’s like to feel stuck or overlooked—and we’re committed to showing others that there’s always a path forward.

At Beeline Collective, we believe in meeting people with compassion, without judgment, and offering practical help with dignity and love.

Thank you for visiting! We are glad you are here!

As of 2023, food insecurity in the U.S. remains a significant issue, though there have been some improvements since the height of the pandemic. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Feeding America Network:

  • According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s annual count (January 2024),

  • 771,480 people experienced homelessness on a single night—an 18% increase compared to 2023—reaching a record high

  • This equates to about 23 out of every 10,000 Americans

  • The spike was especially stark among children: nearly 150,000 minors were homeless on that night—a 33% rise over the previous year.

  • 1 in 10 Americans (around 33.8 million people) face food insecurity, meaning they don’t have consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life.

  • Among children, the rate is higher, with 1 in 8 children (about 9 million) living in food-insecure households.

  • Food insecurity among seniors has also become a growing concern, with approximately 9 million older adults struggling to get enough food.

  • The impact of inflation and rising food prices has exacerbated food insecurity, especially for low-income households. The cost of groceries has increased by over 10% year-over-year in some cases, making it harder for families to stretch their budgets.

These numbers highlight how food insecurity is not just an issue for the homeless or unemployed, but also affects working families, children, and seniors—groups that are often overlooked in conversations about hunger.
