An ecosystem is a complex system that includes living organisms, their physical environment, and all their interrelationships in a particular unit of space.

It is a term often referenced in Community Development and Engagement. There is an interdependency of organizations (organisms) to work and collaborate for the overall sustainability of our communities. This is on every level. Educationally, financially, spiritually, medically, as well as in the Marketplace, and other necessary silos are thriving in the community.

Inspire Hope is the umbrella term for this complex ecosystem of organizations converging together to make an impact in our community. No agendas and no egos in this ecosystem. We understand it takes finance and collaborators to make this impact. Enter The Community Foundation For Inspired Giving. It is the fiscal engine that makes any of these dreams and initiatives possible.

Inspire Hope harnesses the power of these complex and interdependent silos to showcase their strengths in balancing this ecosystem. No predatory organizations invited. We aim to celebrate the impact equitably and continue expanding the ecosystem we love and call Des Moines and the metro.
